As Headteacher of Nansen Primary school, I am fortunate to be part of the fantastic team who all want the children in our care to develop a love of learning and to become confident, caring citizens who are valued for their contribution to their community and the wider world.

Nansen Primary School is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve endless possibilities. The children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.

 As a school we are committed to providing a caring and friendly environment; a safe, happy place where children learn and thrive socially, emotionally, physically and academically. We inspire a love of learning through motivating activities and creative teaching which builds on prior learning and promotes lifelong learning.

We strongly value the relationship we have with our parents and recognise that effective partnerships are essential. We appreciate and value the support our parents give us and the role they play in enriching our children’s experiences and supporting their child’s education.  Parents are always most welcome into our school to help or to discuss their child’s progress or any matters of concern.
